The LYNX/MD machine is equipped with two opposite heads, which
contemporarily cut the two ends of a frame at 45°; tenoning is then
performed on one of the ends, and slotting is performed on the other
end. The N/C working cycle creates products of absolute perfection
whether they are made of solid wood or coated or veneered MDF.
The Lynx/MF double-sided machining
center is designed to produce components for the cabinet door
industry for both high and low volume runs. This machine is designed
for customers who require maximum flexibility combined with high
outputs. The tool can be used to machine frames in solid wood or
coated MDF and for end cutting, tenoning and mortising at 45°. Key
features include the selection of the tool path and functions, a
controller interfaced with a Windows-based system, a rapid traverse
opening and a special high-speed hopper.
